... in short
The TwLIP workshop will be held in Paris from the 14th to the 16th of October 2026.
At variance from the majority of workshops on twistronics, which are focused on the emergence of exotic electronic properties, TwLIP concentrates on the very structure of twisted 2D materials that is at the origin of such exciting phenomena.
The aim of the workshop is to strengthen a community and foster discussions about the level of control that can be achieved during synthesis and fabrication as well as structural and electronic characterization methods and modeling. Our ambition is to make participants come back home knowing who does what and how. To this purpose, the event will be structured on three sessions dealing with the following topics:
- Geometry and crystallography
- Synthesis and fabrication
- Structural and electronic characterization
The workshop will start on the 14th afternoon and will close at lunch time on the 16th. Invited talks and oral contributions will be given in four half-day sessions. On the first day, an evening poster session is also scheduled. Check the Programme for more details.
